4. download zoom

Zoom is a great platform to use for online video lessons. Zoom makes it easy to share screens and for you to get the best quality audio and video from me. Click the link below to download the app for smartphone, tablet or computer. 5-10 minutes prior to your lesson, I will send you a link to join the Zoom call.

5. tips for the best lessons!

  • If you have specific music you are working on, take a video of yourself playing and send it to lisaliztrombone@gmail.com ahead of the lesson. This is not required, but it helps me get a better idea of what you are working on in better quality that’s not streaming. This will also allow me to plan related material for future lessons!

  • I suggest making a test call ahead of time to ensure your audio and video are working properly.

  • Check your lighting in your lesson space. Good lighting helps improve picture quality on all devices. Usually the more light, the better!

If you have any questions please email me - lisaliztrombone@gmail.com

I can’t wait to hear from you!

Testimonial

“I am incredibly grateful for Lisa Liz’s music lessons. After just 2 months of trombone lessons with Lisa, I can easily see and hear such improvement in many aspects of my trombone playing. After not playing my trombone for many years since college, I wanted to pick up from where I left off and was so impressed by Lisa’s youtube tutorials, so I reached out to take online remote lessons. And online lessons work great! What makes Lisa a great teacher is her blend of enthusiasm and patience as a teacher, and her ability to point out problems with positive encouragement. With her help I’ve been able to start filling in some significant gaps in my music and trombone education, both in the fundamentals (breathing, tone, flexibility, range), as well as in playing pieces with phrasing. I’m so thankful to have an awesome music teacher who can, at a good pace, help me create a solid and flexible practice routine and also push me to progress in playing classical and jazz, with various practical tips along the way. Even at my age, I am thrilled to have found Lisa, as I’ve made good progress on a new path forward in my music education.”
